GPS does not work in some of our rooms. Does it still work?
Yes. Phones need a data connection, but not GPS. A stop can be a QR code, a photo mission or a question. Use location only where it is reliable, usually outdoors, and use QR codes indoors.
Do visiting students need an app or an account?
No. They scan a QR code or open a link and play in the browser. Nothing is installed on a school device and no student signs up for anything.
What if it goes wrong with thirty children in the room?
Play it yourself first. A test run gives you a link and a QR code and lets you walk the whole trail on your own phone, exactly as a group will experience it, before anyone is booked in. It is free.
Can it look like us rather than like a product?
The words are all yours. Every question, clue and message is text you write or rewrite, and you can leave a note of your own at any stop for the group to read after they solve it.
What do we get to show afterwards?
The photos and audio a group submitted collect on their finish screen. You also get the numbers behind the visit and the answers people gave, which is what makes a report to a funder concrete.
Can we run different trails for different age groups?
Yes. Build one trail per age group and release each one at its own link, so a booking gets the right questions for the group that turned up.
Is it free?
