Do players need to download an app?
No. Players open a link in their phone's browser and start playing immediately. No app store, no signup.
What types of hunts can I create?
Birthday surprises, classroom activities, team offsites, proposals, you name it. You pick the route, write the clues, and choose the challenge types. Or let AI handle the first draft and adjust from there.

What's the difference between a treasure hunt and a scavenger hunt?
Most people mean the same thing. HedgeHunt works for both styles: follow clues in order like a classic treasure hunt, or complete tasks scattered around like a scavenger hunt. You can mix clues, quizzes, photo challenges, and location check-ins however you want.
Can I change my hunt after I've shared the link?
Yes. Players only ever see the version you released. Anything you edit after that stays private until you release again, and people mid-game finish the version they started. You can also pause a hunt, or bring back an earlier version from your release history.
Can different groups follow different routes?
Yes. Groups can start at different points of the same route so they don't crowd one spot, free on every plan. Fully custom paths per group are a Pro and Hunt Pass feature.
Who writes the discovery facts?
AI does. If you turn discovery facts on, a short "did you know" about the place appears after a step is solved. You choose the depth: off, standard, or rich.
