About these terms
HedgeHunt is a tool for building and sharing real-world treasure hunts and scavenger hunts. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. What HedgeHunt does
You can create a hunt by describing it and letting AI draft it, or by building every step by hand. You then share a link, and players open it in their phone browser and play. The service includes the builder, AI generation and editing, hosting of your hunts, and the player experience.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the activity that happens under it. Keep your login secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country to hold an account. If you create hunts for children, you do so as the responsible adult organising the activity.
Acceptable use
Do not use HedgeHunt to:
- Break the law, or direct players to trespass, endanger themselves, or harm others.
- Upload or generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Send players to private property or restricted areas without permission.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
You are responsible for the routes and locations you choose. Build hunts that are safe and legal for the people playing them.
The hunts you create
Your hunts, clues, photos, and other content are yours. You keep ownership. By using HedgeHunt, you grant us the permission needed to host, process, and display that content so the service can work, for example serving your hunt to the players you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.
Plans and payments
HedgeHunt has a free plan, a Pro subscription, and a one-time Hunt Pass for unlocking a single hunt. Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page. Prices are shown in euros.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe to Pro, it renews automatically for the period you chose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. A Hunt Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks advanced tools for one specific hunt, with no subscription.
Refunds and cancellation
You can cancel Pro whenever you want. How refunds work, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for customers in the EU and EEA, is explained on the refund policy page.
Availability and changes
We work to keep HedgeHunt reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we will aim to give reasonable notice.
Disclaimers and liability
HedgeHunt is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses, or for anything that happens during a hunt that is outside our control, including how and where you choose to send players. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will try to let you know.
